حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَاهُ مَوْتُ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَخَاكُمْ مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ أَرْضِكُمْ، فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ، فَصَفَّهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَلْفَهُ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ When the death of the Negus was reported to the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Your brother has died in a land other than yours, so stand and pray over him." The Messenger of God ﷺ arranged them in rows behind him and prayed over him.
