50. ✧ Sahl b. Sa'd al-Sa'idi

   أَنَّ رَجُلًا اطَّلَعَ فِي حُجْرَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِدْرًى يَحُكُّ بِهِ رَأْسَهُ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ أَنِّي أَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَنْظُرُ لَقُمْتُ حَتَّى أَطْعَنَ بِهِ فِي عَيْنَيْكَ، إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِذْنُ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْبَصَرِ

   ✧ A man looked into the room of the Prophet ﷺ while the Prophet ﷺ had a comb with which he was scratching his head. He said: "If I knew that you were looking, I would stand up and poke it into your eyes. Permission was only made because of seeing."

   " كُنَّا نَفْرَحُ بِيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَذَاكَ أَنَّا كُنَّا نَأْتِي عَجُوزًا فَتَصْنَعُ لَنَا سِلْقًا وَشَعِيرًا فَنَأْكُلُهُ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

   ✧ We used to rejoice on Friday, and that was because we would go to an old woman who would make chard and barley for us, and we would eat it and then return, in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ.

   " كَانَ عَامَّةُ مَنْ يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَصْحَابَ الْعُقَدِ

   ✧ The majority of those who prayed behind the Messenger of God ﷺ were people of knotted garments.

   " تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَهُ جُبَّةُ صُوفٍ فِي الْحِيَاكَةِ

   ✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ died while he had a woolen cloak in the weaving.
