   ✧ I am Muhammad, and Ahmad, and al-Hashir, and the Prophet of repentance, and the Prophet of the malhama.

   أَتَيْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فِي فِدَاءِ بَدْرٍ، قَالَ: وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُشْرِكٌ، قَالَ: فَدَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ " وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ الْمَغْرِبِ، فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا بِالطُّورِ، فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ قَلْبِي لِقِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ

   ✧ I came to Madinah for the ransom of Badr—he said he was then a polytheist—and entered the mosque while the Messenger of God ﷺ was praying the Maghrib prayer and recited in it al-Tur, and it was as if my heart was split by the recitation of the Quran.

   أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي شَيْءٍ ذَكَرَتْهُ لَهُ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ارْجِعِي إِلَيَّ "، قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جِئْتُ فَلَمْ أَرَكَ، فَإِلَى مَنْ ؟ قَالَ: " إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ

   ✧ A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ about something she mentioned to him, and the Messenger of God ﷺ said to her, "Come back to me." She said, "O Messenger of God, what do you think if I come and do not find you—to whom should I go?" He said, "To Abu Bakr."

   كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِطَرِيقٍ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ: يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَطْلُعَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ كَأَنَّهَا قِطَعُ السَّحَابِ أَوْ قِطْعَةُ سَحَابٍ، هُمْ خِيَارُ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ "، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: وَلَا نَحْنُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ فَسَكَتَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: وَلَا نَحْنُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ فَسَكَتَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: وَلَا نَحْنُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ فَسَكَتَ، فَقَالَ: " إِلَّا أَنْتُمْ "، كَلِمَةً ضَعِيفَةً

   ✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ on a road between Makkah and Madinah, and he said, "The people of Yemen are about to come upon you like pieces of clouds—or a piece of cloud—they are the best of those on earth." A man from the Ansar said, "And not us, O Messenger of God?" He was silent. Then he said, "And not us, O Messenger of God?" He was silent. Then he said, "And not us, O Messenger of God?" He was silent. Then he said, "Except you," a weak word.

   " سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِالطُّورِ

   ✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ recite in the Maghrib prayer al-Tur.

   أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا دَخَلَ الصَّلَاةَ كَبَّرَ، قَالَ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا - قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا - وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ كَثِيرًا - قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا - وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا - قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا - أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ نَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ وَهَمْزِهِ

   ✧ When the Prophet ﷺ entered the prayer, he said the takbir: "God is most great, greatly"—he said it three times—"and praise be to God, abundantly"—he said it three times—"and glory be to God morning and evening"—he said it three times—"I seek refuge in God from the accursed Satan, from his blowing, his spitting, and his prodding."

   ذُكِرَ غُسْلُ الْجَنَابَةِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلَاثًا

   ✧ The washing from major impurity was mentioned before the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of God ﷺ said, "As for me, I pour water over my head three times."

   قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَصْحَابَكَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُ لَا أُجُورَ لَنَا فِي مُقَامِنَا بِمَكَّةَ ! فَقَالَ: لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ أُجُورُكُمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ فِي جُحْرٍ، قَالَ: وَأَصْغَى إِلَيَّ بِرَأْسِهِ فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ فِي أَصْحَابِي مُنَافِقِينَ

   ✧ I said, "O Messenger of God, your companions claim that there are no rewards for us in our stay in Makkah!" He said, "Your rewards will surely come to you even if you were in a hole." He leaned his head toward me and said, "Among my companions there are hypocrites."

   " صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ - أَوْ قَالَ: مِائَةٍ - فِي غَيْرِهِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ

   ✧ A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers—or he said a hundred—in any other except the Sacred Mosque.
