   " أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَكْبِ الْحَيِّ فَصَلَّى بِنَا صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ، فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الَّذِي إِلَى جَنْبِي، فَمَا أَكَادُ أَنْ أَعْرِفَهُ - أَيْ مِنَ الْغَلَسِ

   ✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ with a group of riders from the tribe, and he led us in the dawn prayer. I kept looking at the one beside me, and I could hardly recognize him—meaning, due to the darkness before dawn.

   أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَكْبٍ مِنَ الْحَيِّ، فَلَمَّا أَرَدْتُ الرُّجُوعَ قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَوْصِنِي ! قَالَ: اتَّقِ اللهَ، وَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَقُمْتَ مِنْهُمْ فَسَمِعْتَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا يُعْجِبُكَ فَأْتِهِ، وَإِذَا سَمِعْتَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا تَكْرَهُ فَلَا تَأْتِهِ

   ✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ with a group of riders from the tribe. When I wanted to return, I said, "O Messenger of God, advise me!" He said, "Fear God, and when you are in a gathering and then leave them, if you hear them saying what pleases you, then go to it, and if you hear them saying what you dislike, then do not go to it."
