حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ضِرْغَامَةُ بْنُ عُلَيْبَةَ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:
" أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَكْبِ الْحَيِّ فَصَلَّى بِنَا صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ، فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الَّذِي إِلَى جَنْبِي، فَمَا أَكَادُ أَنْ أَعْرِفَهُ - أَيْ مِنَ الْغَلَسِ
Translation

✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ with a group of riders from the tribe, and he led us in the dawn prayer. I kept looking at the one beside me, and I could hardly recognize him—meaning, due to the darkness before dawn.
