34. Chapter of Tā (Female)

   نَظَرْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا فِي غَرْفَةٍ لِي بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ كَتَبَ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّعْيَ فَاسْعَوْا»

   ✧ I looked at the Messenger of God ﷺ while I was in an upper room of mine between Safa and Marwah, and he was saying, "God has prescribed the sa'y for you, so perform the sa'y."

   عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ أَبِيهِ تُوَيْلَةَ بِنْتِ أَسْلَمَ وَهِيَ مِنَ الْمُبَايِعَاتِ قَالَتْ إِنَّا لَبِمُقامِنا نُصَلِّي فِي بَنِي حَارِثَةَ فَقَالَ عَبَّادُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ قَيْظِيُّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَقْبَلَ بَيْتَ الْحَرَامِ أَوِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَتَحَوَّلَ الرِّجَالُ مَكَانَ النِّسَاءِ وَالنِّسَاءُ مَكَانَ الرِّجَالِ «فَصَلُّوا السَّجْدَتَيْنِ الْبَاقِيَتَيْنِ» نَحْوَ الْكَعْبَةِ

   ✧ From his grandmother, the mother of his father, Tuwaylah bt. Aslam, who was among the women who gave allegiance. She said: We were at our place of prayer among the Banu Harithah when Abbad b. Bishr b. Qayzi said: The Messenger of God ﷺ has turned to face the Sacred House, or the Kaaba. So the men moved to the place of the women, and the women to the place of the men, and they prayed the remaining two prostrations toward the Kaaba.

   سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ يَقُولُ صَالِحٌ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ خَلَفٍ

   ✧ I heard Abdullah b. Abd al-Hakam b. Abi Ziyad say: Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw'amah, and she is the daughter of Umayyah b. Khalaf.

   كَانَ اسْمُ بَشِيرٍ زَحْمَ فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَشِيرًا

   ✧ The name of Bashir was Zahm, and the Messenger of God ﷺ named him Bashir.
