32. Borrowing

  1. Sahih Ibn Hibban 5094Sahih

    «الْعَارِيَةُ مُؤَدَّاةٌ وَالْمِنْحَةُ مَرْدُودَةٌ وَمَنْ وَجَدَ لِقْحَةً مُصَرَّاةً فَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُ صِرَارُهَا حَتَّى يُرِيَهَا»

    ✧ The borrowed item is to be returned, the gift of a milch animal is to be returned, and whoever finds a milch camel kept unmilked for a long time, it is not lawful for him to keep it unmilked until he shows it.

    «أَرْبَعُونَ حَسَنَةً أَعْلَاهُنَّ مِنْحَةُ الْعَنْزِ لَا يَعْمَلُ عَبْدٌ بِخَصْلَةٍ مِنْهَا رَجَاءَ ثَوَابِهَا وَتَصْدِيقًا بِمَوْعُودِهَا إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ»

    ✧ Forty good deeds, the highest of which is the gift of a she-goat. No servant does one of them hoping for its reward and believing in its promise but that Allah will admit him to Paradise.

    «مَنْ مَنَحَ مَنِيحَةً أَوْ سَقَى لَبَنًا أَوْ أَهْدَى زُقَاقًا كَانَ لَهُ عِتْقُ رَقَبَةٍ أَوْ نَسَمَةٍ»

    ✧ Whoever grants a gift of a milch animal or gives milk to drink or offers a small gift, it is like freeing a slave.
