   ✧ The beggar has a right, even if he comes on a horse.

   لَمَّا مَاتَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ الْحُسَيْنُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ، وَهُوَ أَمِيرُ الْمَدِينَةِ: تَقَدَّمْ لَوْلَا أَنَّهَا سُنَّةٌ مَا قُدِّمْتَ

   ✧ When al-Hasan b. Ali died, al-Husayn said to Sa'id b. al-'As, who was the governor of Madinah: 'Step forward. Were it not that it is a sunnah, you would not have been put forward.'
