56. ✧ 'Arfajah b. As'ad

   أَنَّ جَدَّهُ عَرْفَجَةَ أُصِيبَ أَنْفُهُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَوْمَ الْكُلَابِ، فَاتَّخَذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، فَأَنْتَنَ عَلَيْهِ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ

   ✧ That his grandfather 'Arfajah had his nose injured in the Jahiliyyah on the day of al-Kulab, so he acquired a nose made of silver, but it became foul for him. He mentioned that to the Messenger of God ﷺ, so he ordered him to acquire a nose made of gold.

   أُصِيبَ أَنْفُ عَرْفَجَةَ يَوْمَ الْكُلَابِ، فَاتَّخَذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، فَأَنْتَنَ عَلَيْهِ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ

   ✧ The nose of 'Arfajah was injured on the day of al-Kulab, so he acquired a nose made of silver, but it became foul for him. The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to acquire a nose made of gold.
