    بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَالِسٌ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْ أَصْحَابِهِ، إِذْ قَالَ: صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى تِلْكَ الْمَقْبَرَةِ " ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَ: فَلَمْ نَدْرِ أَيَّ مَقْبَرَةٍ، وَلَمْ يُسَمِّ لَهُمْ شَيْئًا. قَالَ: فَدَخَلَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ عَلَى بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: عَطَّافٌ: فَحُدِّثْتُ أَنَّهَا عَائِشَةُ، فَقَالَ لَهَا: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ذَكَرَ أَهْلَ مَقْبَرَةٍ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَمْ يُخْبِرْنَا أَيَّ مَقْبَرَةٍ هِيَ، فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَيْهَا فَسَأَلَتْهُ عَنْهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا: " أَهْلُ مَقْبَرَةٍ بِعَسْقَلَانَ

    ✧ While the Messenger of God ﷺ was sitting among his companions, he said: “May God bless the people of that graveyard,” three times. He said: We did not know which graveyard, and he did not name anything for them. He said: Then some of the companions of the Messenger of God went in to one of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ. He said: 'Attaf said: I was told that it was 'A'ishah, and he said to her: “The Messenger of God ﷺ mentioned the people of a graveyard and blessed them, but he did not tell us which graveyard it is.” Then the Messenger of God ﷺ went in to her and she asked him about it, and he said to her: “The people of a graveyard in 'Asqalan.”

    أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَمَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ، فَكَلَّمَهُ بِشَيْءٍ لَا نَدْرِي مَا هُوَ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْنَا أَحَطْنَا بِهِ نَسْأَلُهُ: مَا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَ: " قَالَ لِي: يُوشِكُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ أَرْبَعًا

    ✧ The prayer was called, and the Prophet ﷺ passed by a man praying two rak'ahs before the dawn prayer. He spoke to him something we do not know what it was. When we finished, we surrounded him asking him: “What did the Prophet ﷺ say?” He said: “He said to me: 'One of you is about to pray the dawn prayer as four.'”

    أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، وَرَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي، فَضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْكِبَهُ، وَقَالَ: تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ أَرْبَعًا ؟ أَوْ: مَرَّتَيْنِ ؟

    ✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ went out for the dawn prayer while a man was praying, and the Messenger of God ﷺ struck his shoulder and said: “Do you want to pray four? Or: twice?”
