✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was notified of the prayer during his illness, so he said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." Then he lost consciousness, and when he came to, he said, "Did I tell you to have Abu Bakr lead the people in prayer?" I said, "Abu Bakr is a tender-hearted man; if only you would order 'Umar." He said, "You are the companions of Yusuf. Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer. Many a wisher wishes, but Allah and the believers refuse."
