Virtue of Knowledge and the Scholar

قَالَ وأخْبرني مُحَمَّدٌ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ

«أَجْهَلُ النَّاسِ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَا يَعْلَمُ وَأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِمَا يَعْلَمُ وَأَفْضَلُ النَّاسِ أَخْشَعَهُمْ لِلَّهِ ﷻ»

Translation

✧ "The most ignorant of people is the one who abandons what he knows; the most knowledgeable of people is the one who acts upon what he knows; and the best of people is the one most humble before Allah, Mighty and Sublime."
