Those who are obsessed are never satisfied: (1) those who are obsessed with ˹sacred and salvific˺ knowledge are never satisfied with it, and (2) those who are obsessed with worldly possessions are never satisfied with them. So, whoever makes the hereafter his concern, and devotes himself to it and focuses on it, Allah will take care of his worldly affairs, and He will put contentment in his heart. But whoever makes this world his concern, and devotes himself to it and focuses on it, Allah will expose his ruin, and He will make him ˹obsess over˺ his needs: such that he will not wake up except as a needy person, and he will not reach evening ˹while having pursued his needs˺ except as a needy person ˹anxious, feeling unfulfilled˺.
