✧ In the servant, there is a division between two men, one of whom is set free according to his share.

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ
«مِيرَاثُهُ لِلَّذِي أَمْسَكَهُ» وَقَالَ قَتَادَةُ «هُوَ لِلْمُعْتِقِ كُلُّهُ وَثَمَنُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَيَقُولُهُ أَهْلُ الْكُوفَةِ»

✧ His inheritance belongs to the one who retained him. Qatadah said: It belongs entirely to the one who freed him, and his value is upon him. The people of Kufa say that.
