Sunan ad-Darimi 2260

✧ Prohibition of approaching women without their permission in their modesty.

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ قَالُوا لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ مَنْ أَتَى امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ مُدْبِرَةٌ جَاءَ وَلَدُهُ أَحْوَلَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى {نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ}

Translation

✧ The Jews said to the Muslims, “Whoever comes to his wife while she is turned away, his child will be born cross-eyed.” So Allah, exalted is He, revealed: {Your wives are a tilth for you, so come to your tilth as you wish}.
