✧ What does a woman do when she is menstruating

أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَدِمْتُ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَلَمْ أَطُفْ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «افْعَلِي مَا يَفْعَلُ الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَنْ لَا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ»

✧ “I arrived in Makkah while I was menstruating, and I did not do tawāf between al-Ṣafā and al-Marwah. I complained about that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: ‘Do what the pilgrim does, except that you should not circumambulate the House.’”
