✧ Prohibition of taking charity from people's honorable possessions

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ قَالَ «إِيَّاكَ وَكَرَائِمَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ sent Mu'adh to Yemen, he said: "Beware of taking the best of their wealth."
