✧ “I went on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ toward Najd. We confronted the enemy and lined up against them.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood to lead us in prayer. One group of us stood with him and another group faced the enemy. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led those with him in one rakʿah and two prostrations, then they departed and took the place of the group that had not prayed. The group that had not prayed came, and the Prophet ﷺ led them in one rakʿah and two prostrations, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said salām. Then each Muslim man stood and prayed one rakʿah and two prostrations for himself.
