حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ

عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَا أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ فَعَلَّمَهُ الْأَذَانَ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فِي مَحَارِيبَ مَكَّةَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُقِيمَ وَاحِدَةً وَاحِدَةً

✧ Upon him be peace, he called Abu Mahdhurah and taught him the adhan, and commanded him to call the adhan in the mihrabs of Makkah: Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, twice; and he commanded him to make the iqamah one by one.
