Marwān al-ʿUqaylī narrated it from Hishām, from Ibn Sīrīn, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, while others narrate it from Hishām as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). Likewise Ayyūb al-Sakhtiyānī and others narrate it from Ibn Sīrīn as mawqūf.
