حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ
أَنَّ امْرَأَةَ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ سَأَلَتْ عَنْ حُلِيٍّ لَهَا قَالَ إِذَا بَلَغَ مِائَتَيْنِ فَفِيهِ الزَّكَاةُ قَالَتْ إِنَّ فِي حِجْرِي بَنِي أَخٍ لِي أَفَأَضَعُهُ فِيهِمْ قَالَ نَعَمْ

✧ The wife of Ibn Mas‘ud asked about jewelry of hers. He said: If it reaches two hundred, then zakah is due on it. She said: In my care are the sons of a brother of mine; should I place it among them? He said: Yes.
