machine translationThe hadith is weak (ḍaʿīf).
machine translationThis is a hadith that cannot be relied upon as evidence, for several reasons. The first is what has been said about Baqiyyah, which I already explained clearly at the beginning of the book, in the chapter on explaining impurities. The second is the weakness of ʿĪsā b. Ibrāhīm. The third is the weakness of Juwaybir, who is Ibn Saʿīd al-Balkhī, and he is abandoned in hadith (matrūk al-ḥadīth). The fourth is that it is broken (munqaṭiʿ), since al-Ḍaḥḥāk did not meet al-Barāʾ.
