Sunan al-Daraqutni 1143

✧ What suffices him of supplication when unable to recite the Fatihah of the Book

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ نا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ نا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا كَبَّرَ لِلصَّلَاةِ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

✧ That when he said the takbir for prayer, he said: Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise, and blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god other than You.
