The Etiquettes of Ihram
وَعَنْ اَلصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ اَللَّيْثِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّهُ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -حِمَارًا وَحْشِيًّا, وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْوَاءِ, أَوْ بِوَدَّانَ، فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ, وَقَالَ: " إِنَّا لَمْ نَرُدَّهُ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا أَنَّا حُرُمٌ " } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ <sup>1</sup>.
Translation
As-Sa'b bin Jath-thamah al-Laithi (RAA) narrated, ‘He presented to the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) the meat of a zebra while he was in the area known as al-Abwa’ or Waddan. The Prophet (P.B.U.H.) declined it, and said to him, “We declined your present only because we are in the state of Ihram." Agreed upon.
