Sahih al-Bukhari 7312

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ

مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا قَاسِمٌ وَيُعْطِي اللَّهُ وَلَنْ يَزَالَ أَمْرُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ مُسْتَقِيمًا حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ أَوْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ

Translation

I heard Muawiya bin Abi Sufyan delivering a sermon. He said, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do a favor to somebody, He bestows on him, the gift of understanding the Qur'an and Sunna. I am but a distributor, and Allah is the Giver. The state of this nation will remain good till the Hour is established, or till Allah's Order comes."
