You will leave Madinah in the best state it has ever been, and none will frequent it except the scavengers, the scavenging birds and beasts of prey. The last of those to be gathered will be two shepherds from Muzaynah, calling out to their sheep, and they will find it full of wild animals, until when they reach Thaniyyat al-Wadāʿ they will fall on their faces. Whomever Allah wants good for, He gives him understanding of the religion.
