We came to the Prophet ﷺ when we were young men of similar age. We stayed with him for twenty nights, and he realized that we were longing for our families. He asked us about those we had left behind with our families, and we told him. He was gentle and merciful. He then said: "Return to your families, teach them and instruct them. Pray as you have seen me pray. When the time for prayer arrives, let one of you call the adhan, then let the eldest of you lead you in prayer."
