«اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ، فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ».

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "Recite the Quran as long as your hearts are in harmony over it; when you differ, then get up and leave it."
Notes
✧ Al-Harith ibn Ubayd and Sa'id ibn Zayd corroborated him from Abu Imran. Hammad ibn Salamah and Aban did not raise it to the Prophet ﷺ. Ghundar said, from Shubah, from Abu Imran: "I heard Jundab state it." Ibn Awn said, from Abu Imran, from Abdullah ibn al-Samit, from Umar, as his own statement. The route of Jundab is more authentic and more numerous.
