حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُمَا
أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَىٍّ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَاضَتْ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَفَاضَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَطَافَتْ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَلْتَنْفِرْ

(the wife of the Prophet) Safiya bin Huyai, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ menstruated during Hajjat-ul- Wadaʿ The Prophet ﷺ said, "Is she going to detain us?" I said to him, "She has already come to Mecca and performed the Tawaf (ul-ifada) around the Kaʿba, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ." The Prophet ﷺ said, " Let her then proceed on (to Medina).
