حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ
رَأَيْتُ بِيَدِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ضَرْبَةً قَالَ ضُرِبْتُهَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ قُلْتُ شَهِدْتَ حُنَيْنًا قَالَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ
Translation

I saw (a healed scar of) blow over the hand of Ibn Abi ʿAufa who said, "I received that blow in the battle of Hunain in the company of the Prophet." I said, "Did you take part in the battle of Hunain?" He replied, "Yes (and in other battles) before it."
