Sahih al-Bukhari 3112

Translation

I heard Mundhir at-Tuzi reporting Ibn Hanafiya who said, "My father sent me saying, 'Take this letter to ʿUthman for it contains the orders of the Prophet ﷺ concerning the Sadaqa.' "

Sūqah narrated to us, he said: I heard Mundhir al-Thawrī, from Ibn al-Ḥanafiyyah, who said: My father sent me, saying: "Take this letter and go with it to ʿUthmān, for in it is the command of the Prophet ﷺ concerning the charity (ṣadaqah)."
