✧ People came to Ali complaining about Uthman's tax collectors. My father said to me: Take this letter to Uthman and tell him that the people have complained about your tax collectors, and this is the command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ regarding charity, so order them to follow it. I went to Uthman and mentioned that to him. He said: If he was going to mention Uthman in something, he would have mentioned it that day.
