حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

«سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لاَ ظِلَّ إِلاَّ ظِلُّهُ: (١) إِمَامٌ عَدْلٌ، (٢) وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ فِي عِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ، (٣) وَرَجُلٌ قَلْبُهُ مُعَلَّقٌ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ، (٤) وَرَجُلاَنِ تَحَابَّا فِي اللَّهِ اجْتَمَعَا عَلَيْهِ وَتَفَرَّقَا عَلَيْهِ، (٥) وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ ذَاتُ مَنْصِبٍ وَجَمَالٍ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ، (٦) وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّى لاَ تَعْلَمَ شِمَالُهُ مَا تُنْفِقُ يَمِينُهُ، (٧) وَرَجُلٌ ذَكَرَ اللَّهَ خَالِيًا فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ.»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Seven people will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the Day when there will be no shade except His. They are: (1) a just ruler; (2) a young person who has been brought up ˹and remains steadfast˺ in the worship of Allah, (3) a person whose heart is attached to the mosque; (4) two people who love each other only for the sake of Allah and they meet and part only in this cause; (5) a man who refuses the call of a beautiful woman of nobility saying: I am afraid of Allah; (6) a person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given; and (7) a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes well up with tears."
