✧ He said regarding the shade of Allah on a day when there is no shade but His shade, then he said, and there is no doubt in the rest of it: 'Chairs of light will be placed for them; the prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs will envy them for their nearness to the Lord, Blessed and Exalted.' He said: So I narrated it to 'Ubadah b. al-Samit, and he said: I will not narrate to you except what I heard from the tongue of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that he said: 'My love is due to those who love one another for My sake; My love is due to those who give to one another for My sake; My love is due to those who are truthful to one another for My sake; My love is due to those who visit one another for My sake; and My love is due to those who maintain ties with one another for My sake.' Shu'bah was uncertain about 'maintain ties' and 'visit one another.'
