حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ: قَالَ طَاوُسٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي عِمِّيَّا بِحَجَرٍ أَوْ عَصًا فَهُوَ خَطَأٌ عَقْلُهُ عَقْلُ خَطَأٍ، وَمَنْ قُتِلَ عَمْدًا فَهُوَ قَوَدٌ، وَمَنْ حَالَ دُونَهُ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَغَضَبُهُ، لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ

Translation

✧ Whoever is killed in a blind fight with a stone or a stick, it is a mistake, and its blood-money is the blood-money of a mistake. Whoever is killed deliberately, then it is retaliation. Whoever prevents that, upon him is the curse of Allah and His wrath; neither an obligatory nor a supererogatory act will be accepted from him.
