وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: نَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ أَبُو الْجَهْمِ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَصْبَغِ بْنِ نُبَاتَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ:
قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَوِّمْ لَنَا السِّعْرَ، قَالَ: إِنَّ غَلَاءَ السِّعْرِ وَرُخْصَهُ بِيَدِ اللهِ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَلْقَى رَبِّي وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يَطْلُبُنِي بِمَظْلَمَةٍ ظَلَمْتُهَا إِيَّاهُ
Translation

✧ It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, set the prices for us.' He said: 'Indeed, the rising and falling of prices is in the hand of Allah. I wish to meet my Lord with no one seeking recompense from me for an injustice I did to him.'
