✧ A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ passed by a mountain stream with water, and its pleasantness impressed him. He said: 'If only I could withdraw from the people and stay in this stream — but I will not do so until I seek the permission of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' He mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not do that, for the standing of one of you in the path of Allah is better for him than his standing in his house for sixty years, or so many years. Whoever fights in the path of Allah for the time between two milkings of a camel, Paradise becomes obligatory for him.'
