حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: نَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:

طَعِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِ الْعَبَّاسِ، أَوْ فِي بَيْتِ حَمْزَةَ فَقَالَ: لَيَتَخَوَّضَنَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى مَا أَفَاءَ اللهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ لَا يَكُنْ لَهُمْ حَظٌّ غَيْرُهُ، وَكَفَّارَاتُ الْخَطَايَا إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ، وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَى إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ، وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate in the house of al-Abbas, or in the house of Hamzah, and said: 'Some people of my nation will surely plunge into what Allah granted His Messenger as spoils, having no share other than that. The expiations of sins are perfecting ablution in difficult circumstances, taking many steps to the mosques, and waiting for prayer after prayer.'
