✧ Mūsā was a very shy man, and he went — I think he said — to the water to bathe, and placed his clothes on a rock. His private parts were hardly ever seen, so the Children of Israel said: 'Mūsā has a hernia and an affliction,' meaning that he never removed his clothes. Then the rock carried away his clothes until it came opposite the gatherings of the Children of Israel, and they looked at Mūsā ﷺ as the best of men, or as he said. That is His saying: 'So God cleared him of what they said, and he was honorable in God's sight.'
