وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ - فَلَا أَدْرِي أَشَيْءٌ نَزَلَ أَمْ كَانَ يَقُولُهُ - لَوْ كَانَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ مَالٍ لَتَمَنَّى، أَوْ لَابْتَغَى - ثَانِيًا، وَلَا يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ
Translation
✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say—and I do not know whether it was something revealed or something he was saying—'If the son of Adam had a valley of wealth, he would wish for—or seek—a second, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust.'
