حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَنَحَرَ بُدْنَهُ وَالْحَلَّاقُ جَالِسٌ، فَأَمَالَ إِلَيْهِ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ: احْلِقْ، فَحَلَقَ شِقَّ رَأْسِهِ فَقَسَمَهُ - يَعْنِي بَيْنَ النَّاسِ - وَقَالَ لَهُ: احْلِقِ الشِّقَّ الْأَيْسَرَ، فَحَلَقَهُ فَنَاوَلَنِي فَنَاوَلْتُهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ threw the pebbles at Jamrat al-'Aqabah on the Day of Sacrifice, then left and slaughtered his sacrificial camels while the barber was sitting. He inclined his head toward him and said: "Shave." He shaved one side of his head and distributed it - meaning among the people - and said to him: "Shave the left side." He shaved it and handed it to me, and I handed it to Abu Talha.
