حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، نَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ- يَعْنِي الْمُخَرِّمِيَّ- مِنْ وَلَدِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ قُعُودًا مِنْ مَرَضٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ صَلَاةَ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to the people while they were praying sitting down due to illness, and he said: "The prayer of one sitting is half the prayer of one standing."
