✧ Cupping on an empty stomach is more excellent, and in it is healing and blessing, and it increases reason and increases the memorizer in memorization. So whoever is to be cupped, in the name of God let him be cupped on Thursday, and avoid cupping on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday — meaning: cup yourselves on the two, the day on which affliction was turned away from Ayyub, meaning Tuesday, and avoid cupping on Wednesday, for it is a day on which a people were struck with affliction, and neither leprosy nor vitiligo begins except on Wednesday or Wednesday night. Then Abdullah b. Umar called for a son of his, three years old, and kissed his mouth.
