حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: نَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ - ؓ

أَنَّهُ رَأَى قَوْمًا يُصَلُّونَ مِنَ الضُّحَى فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءَ، فَقَالَ: أَمَا عَلِمُوا أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي غَيْرِ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: صَلَاةُ الْأَوَّابِينَ حِينَ تَرْمَضُ الْفِصَالُ

Translation

✧ He saw a people praying the forenoon prayer in the mosque of Qubā', so he said: 'Do they not know that prayer at other than this hour is better? Indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The prayer of the penitent is when the young camels feel the heat of the sun.'
