✧ "There are three whom Allah loves, and three whom Allah hates. Allah loves a man who was among a people when a beggar came to them asking by the countenance of Allah, not asking by any kinship between him and them, so they let him go. But he remained behind them where no one sees him except Allah and the one to whom he gave. And He loves a man who was in a battalion and it was routed, so he returned fighting until Allah granted him victory or he was killed. And He loves a man who was among a people and they traveled at night, and their night journey became long. Then they dismounted in the last part of the night, and sleep was dearer to one of them than anything he might equate with it, so they slept, but he got up reciting My verses and seeking My favour. And He hates the old man who commits adultery, the miser, and the arrogant. I think he said: 'And the conceited.'"
