✧ Some birds were gifted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I prepared some of them for him. When morning came, I brought it to him, and he said: 'Where did you get this?' I said: 'From what was brought to you yesterday.' He said: 'Did I not tell you not to store up food for tomorrow? Each day has its provision.' Then he said: 'O Allah, bring to me the most beloved of Your creation to You, to eat with me from this bird.' Then 'Ali entered, and he said: 'O Allah, and to me.'
