حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يَوْمَ الْمَرْجِ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ: لَوْلَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

" إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى سَيَمْنَعُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِنَصَارَى مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ عَلَى شَاطِئِ الْفُرَاتِ، مَا تَرَكْتُ أَعْرَابِيًّا إِلَّا قَتَلْتُهُ أَوْ يُسْلِمُ
