✧ The first hadith of Abu Musa

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْأَحْدَبِ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ، قَالَ:
أُغْمِيَ عَلَى أَبِي مُوسَى فَبَكَوْا عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: أَبْرَأُ إِلَيْكُمْ مِمَّا كَانَ بَرِئَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ حَلَقَ وَلَا خَرَقَ وَلَا سَلَقَ.

✧ Abu Musa fell unconscious, and they wept over him. He said: "I declare myself innocent before you of that from which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared himself innocent to us." He said: "He is not one of us who shaves, tears, or wails."
