✧ "Abu Musa asked permission to enter upon Umar three times, but he was not granted permission, so he left. Umar met him and said: 'What made you turn back?' He said: 'I asked permission three times and was not granted permission, so I returned. We ask permission as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us: if we are granted permission, we enter; otherwise, we return.' Umar said: 'You must bring me proof of this, or I will do something to you.' So Abu Musa went until he came to the gathering of his people and informed them. They said: 'No one will stand with you except the youngest among us. Get up, O Abu Sa'id.' So he stood with him before Umar and informed him, and Umar let him go."
