حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ؓ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

" لَا تَقَدَّمُوا الشَّهْرَ حَتَّى تُكْمِلُوا الْعَدَدَ أَوْ تَرَوُا الْهِلَالَ، ثُمَّ صُومُوا فَلَا تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تُكْمِلُوا الْعَدَدَ أَوْ تَرَوُا الْهِلَالَ

Translation

✧ Do not precede the month until you complete the count or sight the crescent, then fast and do not break the fast until you complete the count or sight the crescent.
